Spring Wildflower Walk (11.10.2009)

[ October 11, 2009; 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. ] Celebrate the beginning of spring and see out winter. Explore the wildflowers in the Mount Majura nature reserve on this delightful walk with local botanist Michael Doherty. Please bring a gold coin donation for a list of the flora of Mt Majura and Mt Ainslie or download a copy from the “Species lists” page.

Mt Ainslie Weeders and FoMM Working Party

Great Community Spirit on National Tree Day 2009

More than 140 enthusiastic volunteers from Hackett and surrounding suburbs joined by Ms Caroline Le Couteur MLA, Andrew Barr, Minister for Planning and Senator Gary Humphries celebrated National Tree Day 2009 on Sunday, 2 August by planting over 300 local trees on Mount Majura.
