As in the past two years, the Friends of Mt Majura will be hosting twilight weeding sessions at The Fair during the weeks on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from the 7th January until further notice.

Start the new year with a good deed, enjoy a relaxing summer eve hand-weeding among precious native wildflowers, good company and the beautiful evening light before sunset.

When: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm

Meet: Nature-park entrance, Tay & Ian Nicol Streets, Nth Watson; view this map with the meeting and volunteer registration point and some of the blue outlined wildflower patches.

What: Relaxing and sociable hand weeding of St John’s Wort among wildflowers.

Bring: Water, sunscreen, sturdy shoes, garden gloves and clothes to cover limbs.
We provide: support, tools, gloves and bags for weeds.
