Students, teachers and parents of the Hackett Blue Gum School and the wider community helped to enhance our beloved Mount Majura bushland by planting several hundreds of groundcover plants, shrubs and trees on National Tree Day 2010.
Join the Friends of Mount Majura at our September working bee to take care of the young seedlings and to control weeds that compete with the young plants.
When: Sunday, 19 September, from 9 am to 12 noon
Where: Meet at the Hackett reservoir off Rivett and French Streets (view this map)
Give as little or as much time as you want. Please bring sun protection, gloves if you have them and wear long sleeves and pants. We will provide the equipment and morning tea.
