On every third Sunday each month Friends of Mount Majura host a working party to improve and protect the natural values of the Mount Majura nature reserve. Everyone is highly welcome to give a hand.
On the 21 August we will be working to control erosion at the zig-zag part of Casuarina trail uphill of the Majura dams. We will place logs, branches and litter to disguise short-cuts. The work requires a reasonable fitness as we will be working in steep terrain.
When: Sunday, 21 August, 9am – 12noon
Where: meet at nature park entrance Mackenzie Street opposite of Grayson Street, Hackett (click here to view a map) or just walk up the southern branch of Casuarina trail and meet the working crew uphill of the Majura dams.
Bring and wear: Sun protection, water, garden gloves, sturdy shoes
