Tree Walk Cancelled

On Canberra Tree Day, get to know the local trees and shrubs of Mt Majura’s woodlands on this informative walk with plant ecologist Michael Doherty.

Come for a stroll among the grassy woodlands of the lower slope (easy) with a possible climb (medium) to a groove of Snow Gums.

When: Sunday 7th May 2023, from 2pm to 4pm.

Where: Meet at the Mackenzie Street nature park entry roughly opposite Grayson Stree, Hackett; view this map for the meeting point.

Bring and wear: sun protection, drinking water, appropriate clothing and shoes for the weather and nature park conditions.

Tree guides will be available for a gold coin donation.
