Wildflower Walk (05/11/2023)

The Tiger orchid, Diuris sulphurea with its bright yellow flowers and dark brown markings can be spotted in late spring in Majura’s woodlands (W.Pix).

Learn about the different species found in grassy woodlands on the lower slopes of the mountain. 
Discover that there is more to our wildflowers than simply looking beautiful.

When: Sunday, 5th November, 2 – 4 pm

Where: Meet at the nature reserve entry off Mackenzie Street near Grayson Street, Hackett; view this map.

Wear suitable clothing for the expected weather, and comfortable footwear.

Bring sun protection, drinking water and a camera, magnifying glass and field guide if you have them.

An updated Flora list will be available for a donation.
