Meet at 10am at MacKenzie St park entrance, opposite Grayson St Hackett

Bring something to write, a camera if you have one, sun protection and good shoes.

Wildflower walk – Sunday 3 November, 2-4pm

Meet at Helms Place Nature Park entrance, Hackett, off Rivett St just north of junction with Richards St

Enjoy a spring Floriade on the mountain on this delightful walk with local botanist Michael Doherty. The walk will highlight different species found in grassland, woodland and open forest. Please bring sun protection, water, good walking shoes, and a hand lens/magnifying glass if you have one.  A new flora list is available for a donation.

National Tree Day Follow-up Care – Sunday 3 November

Meet at the 2012/2013 National Tree Day planting site behind The Fair at 9am to give the young plants some tender loving care.

FoMM celebrates its 10th Birthday – Sunday 17 November

Come and celebrate FoMM’s 10th birthday with a walk, see the progress we achieved in 10 years along the way and help warm-up a new seat bench at the  sheep camp all in style with birthday cake, champagne and great views

Majura’s Treasures Launch – Wednesday 30 November 10am-12pm

The new booklets Majura’s Treasures  and Living next to Nature and will be officially launched at 9:30am and followed by a community friendly sustainability fair. Click here for more details.

Celebrate the joy of living next to the beautiful Mount Majura Nature Reserve. Explore stalls on everything from birds and plants, to gardening and pets to Majura’s unique bushwalks and history. Enjoy activities for all the family including live music, face painting, a delicious BBQ and self-guided strolls along the brand new Clancy’s track.
