Swift Parrot, Lathamus discolor (Geoffey Dabb)
Swift parrots have been reported regularly visiting Mt Majura nature reserve in autumn from the end of March to the beginning of May. Most of the reports are from around the watercourse close to the lower Hackett water tank.
If you spot this critically endangered species please contact Friends of Mount Majura with information on the date of observation, the time of the day, the location and the number of birds.
